With both teams having won two games, Game 5 between the Washington Capitals and Toronto Maple Leafs will be pivotal. Here’s how you can watch.

Game 4 between the Washington Capitals and Toronto Maple Leafs did not disappoint. Even though the Caps took a 4-1 first period lead, the Leafs didn’t give up. However, they still lost 5-4 to Washington. With this win, the series is now tied at two games a piece. Friday’s Game 5 will be held at the Verizon Center. Game 4’s win gives the Caps home ice advantage, which could be a determining factor in this series.

Washington got two goals each from T.J. Oshie and Tom Wilson. The latter might have darn well saved the Caps season in the first period. Up 2-1, Wilson saved a goal against on one end and scored on the other. That’s a huge shift from a potential 2-2 tie to a 3-1 lead. Braden Holtby was stellar in the third period, stopping 17 of the 19 shots he saw.

On the other side of the ice, the Maple Leafs must look at their two recent slow starts. Sure, they came back and won Game 3 after falling behind by two goals. However, as the Leafs saw on Wednesday, they can’t expect to come back from early deficits. Their resilience is impressive, as you can never fully count them out of a game.
