NBA Playoffs 2017: Celtics vs. Bulls Game 3 live stream: Watch online
By Noah Torr
The Chicago Bulls have taken a 2-0 lead in the series against the Boston Celtics. The two teams are set to play Game 3 tonight, April 21, in Chicago. Here’s how to watch online.
The Bulls won the second matchup in their series, shocking the world. Most people thought that the Celtics would either sweep the series or win in five games. Now, neither of those options are possible since the Bulls lead the series 2-0. Rajon Rondo was a major factor in the second game for the Bulls. He scored 11 points, notched 9 rebounds, and dished out 14 assists. Rondo even stepped up as a leader for the Bulls which was very unexpected. But, to the Bulls dismay, Rondo won’t suit up tonight and may not play for the rest of the series.
The Bulls haven’t released their starting lineup yet, but Jerian Grant is expected to start tonight over Michael Carter-Williams and Cameron Payne. Grant has earned his playing time this year because of his hard work and dedication to the game.
With that in mind, the Bulls will likely start Grant at point guard, Dwyane Wade at the shooting guard, Jimmy Butler at small forward, Nikola Mirotic at power forward, and Robin Lopez at center. Lopez was a beast last game and picked Al Horford apart in the paint. If you have never watched Robin Lopez play basketball before, you would have thought he was the best player on the floor. Mirotic should get the nod over Paul Zipser and Bobby Portis because of his play last game.
The Celtics are rolling with their normal lineup of Isaiah Thomas at point guard, Avery Bradley at shooting guard, Jae Crowder at small forward, Amir Johnson at power forward, and Al Horford at center. The Celtics role players have been less than impressive and have underperformed the whole series. Thomas will have to put on an MVP-like performance tonight in order for the Celtics to have success.
