Stone Cold Steve Austin’s podcast hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since last August. That could be changing soon and for good reason.

Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Stone Cold Podcast is one of the most popular podcasts in all of sports and entertainment these days, but unfortunately, it hasn’t been on WWE programming in a long time.

The last podcast Austin did with WWE was last August with Dean Ambrose. In the past, Austin has hosted podcasts on Podcast One and the WWE Network with Edge and Christian, Triple H, Vince McMahon, AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman.

Austin’s podcast could be returning to WWE if a special guest is scheduled for an appearance, according to SportsKeeda.com (h/t WrestleZone).

The guest that could generate a lot of buzz and has mentioned that he’d come on the show, according to Austin? None other than The Deadman himself, The Undertaker.

"A reliable source has said that the return of the Podcast will mainly hinge on whether The Undertaker is willing to participate. Steve Austin has said in the past that The Undertaker has agreed to come on his show. Now that The Undertaker has retired, it would be the perfect time to make good on his word. As the WWE are probably aware of this, they will not want The Undertaker interview airing solely on Podcast One and not on the WWE Network.(Billi Bhatti, SportsKeeda.com)"

It’s no secret that WrestleMania 33 was the end of The Deadman in WWE after his defeat at the hands of Roman Reigns in the main event and now that he’s retired, it makes all the sense in the world for Mark Calloway — the man behind The Phenom — to come on Austin’s show.

Next: Bobby Roode's theme almost was given to ... Shinsuke Nakamura?

Austin and The Deadman had some classics in their careers and respect each other in and out of the ring more than most. This would make for one hell of a conversation that fans would surely love to hear and see.
