Dennis Schroder can’t handle Paul Millsap being called ‘a crybaby’ (Video)

When Markieff Morris calldc Paul Millsap ‘a crybaby’, Dennis Schroder didn’t handle the news nearly as well as Millsap during a post-game press conference.
To say that the Atlanta Hawks and the Washington Wizards don’t like each other would be an understatement. These two Southeast Division rivals have had bad blood the last three years dating back to their previous NBA Playoffs matchup in 2015.
Atlanta won Game 3 at home over Washington easily, 116-98. It was not a good performance by the Wizards in the slightest. One player on Washington that has had a miserable series thus far is Wizards power forward Markieff Morris.
After collectively taking a beating in the paint with his teammates, Morris sounded off in Washington’s post-game presser, calling Hawks power forward Paul Millsap ‘a crybaby’. When it was Atlanta’s turn to get to the mic, Millsap and Atlanta point guard Dennis Schroder couldn’t handle Morris’ comments, trying their best to not laugh hysterically.

Millsap is pretty much the last thing from ‘a crybaby’ in the NBA. The guy literally gets hit in the face every ball game around the rim. Millsap is soft-spoken by nature, preferring to let his elite play do the talking for him. He will occasionally bark at an official if he doesn’t get a call when he’s hacked in the low post.
As for Schroder, he’s a bit of a jokester for the Hawks. He loves to rile up the opposition by saying all sorts of things on the court. With a tuft of gold in his jet black hair, do you think he cares? When Schroder heard Morris’ comments, he just about lost it, providing all the reaction the stoic Millsap wasn’t going to provide.

With Schroder’s hand in his face trying not to laugh, Millsap did say that Morris should “take his loss and go back to the hotel.” Well played, Millsap. Well played. Keep in mind that Morris did once throw his towel at his former head coach Jeff Hornacek from the bench when they were both employed by the Phoenix Suns last year. Oh, the irony.
