DraftKings NBA Picks April 22

There are four games today, with two of them being Game 4’s. No series will be decided today. Who are our best options in DraftKings as the underdogs try to take games at home?

More from DFS

The money line was up a bit to 256.25. My lineup was torpedoed by Patrick Beverley and Kelly Olynyk. Even Russell Westbrook couldn’t save my lineup!

The winning lineup was up quite a bit to 340 DraftKings points. He faded Westbrook, but had big games from Gordon Hayward, Chris Paul, and James Harden, and easily the best game of the series for Al Horford.

PG: John Wall ($10,800): Wall played very well against the Raptors during the regular season, but he has stepped it up another notch in the playoffs. He has 115.75 DraftKings points in the first two games of the series, and is showing no signs of slowing down or being stopped by Dennis Schroder. He is worth paying for!

SG: Patrick McCaw ($3,200): This only applies if Kevin Durant sits. However, considering that the Warriors are up 2-0, and barely broke a sweat blowing out Portland in Game 2 without KD, they really don’t have a reason to rush him back to the court. So I’m guessing that Durant sits and McCaw starts. He picked up 19.5 DraftKings points in Game 2, which is just ten less than Andre Iguodala at $1,900 less. I’m on McCaw if Durant sits. However, with the lack of a late swap, I really hope the news comes out early…..

G: Andre Iguodala ($5,100): If Durant starts, there are so many good bargain plays that it wont be difficult to re-tool our lineups. Even if Durant plays, I wont use him, but it may affect my usage of the other Warriors I have in here, including Iggy and Green. Iguodala usually plays enough to get value anyway, but at this price, I may move off of him with Durant on the court.

SF: Maurice Harkless ($4,900): Harkless has been one of the few Blazers that can get anything going in this series. He has 57.25 DraftKings points in the first two games, making him nearly a 6x value. Portland needs some home court magic. If they get it, Harkless should be a part of it at the very least.

PF: Draymond Green ($8,100): Green wasn’t quite the monster that he was in Game 1, but he still topped 5x value in just 30 minutes in Game 2. Portland is in a world of trouble with or without Durant. If KD plays, I am moving off of Draymond and on to Khris Middleton and upgrading my UTIL slot.

C: Greg Monroe ($5,500): Monroe has been a consistent force in all three games of this series. He only plays about half the game, but he has been at or over 5x value every time. He picked up 34.75 DraftKings points in Game 3 despite fouling out. There is no reason not to use Monroe right now.

F: Zach Randolph ($6,500): Playing Randolph off the bench is paying dividends now because he is fresh compared to the Spurs up front, and he is just dominating. After a quiet Game 1, Randolph has 72 DraftKings points in the last two games. He has been a force on offense and defense. He is a good source of value again, at least until the series heads back south.

UTIL: Markieff Morris ($5,800): Morris had an awful game in Game 3 due to constant foul trouble. I’m banking on low ownership and him keeping his nose clean in this one. He only took three shots in Washington’s Game 3 victory. There is a lot of risk involved here, but it could pay off big time.
