DraftKings NBA Picks April 23

There are four games today, with two of them being Game 4’s. The Cavs have a chance to sweep the Pacers. LeBron and PG were huge on Friday. Can they do it again?

More from DraftKings

The money line was way up to 277.25 DraftKings points. My lineup came in over that despite a poor performance from Mike Muscala. The other seven saved my bacon!

The winning lineup was predictably up as well to 362 points. He capitalized on huge nights from Mike Conley, Kawhi Leonard, and Paul Millsap. However, it was the big game from 4.5% owned Tony Parker that put this over the top.

PG: Russell Westbrook ($13,800): I came very close to fading Westbrook tonight. Very close. However, I just couldn’t do it. The winning lineup on Thursday faded him, but he also had to hit right on a whole lot of value plays. I want my sure 70, and I will build from there.

SG: Paul Zipser ($3,500): A lot of people moved to Jerian Grant or Michael Carter-Williams with Rajon Rondo out again, but it was Zipser who saw the largest increase in stats. Both Grant and MCW cannibalize each other’s value, and neither had much to begin with. Zipser plays just as many, it not more, minutes than those two for a much lower price.

G: Chris Paul ($9,800): After Blake Griffin went out, Paul was huge in Game 3. Now he gets a full game without Griffin instead of just three quarters. Paul racked up 63.25 DraftKings points in Game 3. He could approach 70 tonight with Griffin not playing at all.

SF: Andre Roberson ($5,400): This is what Russell Westbrook needed: someone to step up and help. Roberson has had a great series against Houston, going over 32 DraftKings points in all three games. That still makes his floor 6x value! Find a way to get him in there!

PF: Nikola Mirotic ($5,100): Mirotic was awful in game one, but the Celtics have kept Bobby Portis in check since. That has left Mirotic in there for 54 minutes over the last two games. He has responded with 59.25 DraftKings points. Mirotic has been the key to this Bulls playoff run. The Bulls are going to continue leaning on him as much as they can.

C: Tristan Thompson ($4,700): Thompson has been one of my favorite bargain plays throughout the playoffs. Thompson has averaged 24.2 DraftKings points per game in this series. That’s good enough for 5.5x value.

F: Luc Richard Mbah a Moute ($3,700): Mbah a Moute came up big when Griffin went down in Game 3. He finished the game with 28.5 DraftKings points, largely due to his increased scoring. Mbah a Moute will be relied upon again to take some of the load off of Chris Paul. He should be a great bargain at this price.

UTIL: Taj Gibson ($3,900): Gibson played his most minutes, and dropped in 20 points in Game 3. That is the Thunder’s only win so far in the series. Expect them to get Gibson more involved in the offense once again. They need to head back to Houston with the series tied to have any chance of winning. Look for them to duplicate the Game 3 recipe, which means good things for Gibson.
