Who might be in danger on this week’s episode of Dancing With the Stars, when can you tune in, and what should you expect?
Last week, Dancing With the Stars hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews noted that the competition had already passed its halfway point. The judges have grown more stringent with scores, and most have risen to the occasion. Last week’s Disney Night had the lowest scorer, Bonner Bolton, snag a 30 with all four judges.
However, he still hasn’t made a trip to the bottom two or three. Granted, last week’s episode saw frontrunner Normani Kordei briefly flirt with elimination. Meanwhile, Nick Viall has dropped to the bottom a few times in a row now, which suggests that his time on Dancing With the Stars may be coming to an end sooner rather than later.
But before one of these men — or someone else entirely — leaves, they’ll have to get through not one, but two dances tonight. For some added pressure, both of them count for scores, not just one.
Let’s look at ABC’s lineup:
"Simone Biles & Sasha Farber – SambaBonner Bolton & Sharna Burgess – RumbaRashad Jennings & Emma Slater – TangoNancy Kerrigan & Artem Chigvintsev – Paso DobléNormani Kordei & Valentin Chmerkovskiy – SalsaHeather Morris & Maksim Chmerkovskiy – RumbaDavid Ross & Lindsay Arnold – Argentine TangoNick Viall & Peta Murgatroyd – Jive"
For once, listing Maksim Chmerkovskiy isn’t inaccurate. He reported last week he’ll be back.
But we mentioned two dances, didn’t we? It’s time for another team dance. The women will dance to a medley featuring the music of Fifth Harmony (of course), TLC, and The Chiffons. Meanwhile, the men get One Direction, New Kids on the Block, and the Jackson 5.
