Fred Hoiberg bolts from press conference when asked about Isaiah Thomas (Video)

Fred Hoiberg just ended up taking the high road on Wednesday night when he was asked about Isaiah Thomas’ carries
These NBA Playoffs have thus far been quite entertaining on the court, but one thing that we can all agree on is that some of the more memorable moments have come from the press conferences afterward. After Wednesday night, you can definitely add Chicago Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg for the highlight reel here.
Hoiberg and the Bulls took on the Boston Celtics in Game 5 of their series on Wednesday night, and when all was said and done, the Celtics are now one win away from advancing after the Bulls dropped their third in a row. There was once a time in this series where it looked as if the Bulls were ready to pull off one of the biggest upsets in NBA history, being up 2-0 in the series, but now it’s all falling apart. With that being the case, you know that frustrations are running high for Hoiberg.
So it’s really no surprise that when he was asked about something that we know already irks him on Wednesday night after the loss, it was easy to tell he was not a pleased man. When asked once again about Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas carrying the ball, rather than blowing a gasket right then and there, he chose to take the high road and walk away.
Hey, that was a very good decision by the young, former Iowa State head coach there. He could have maybe went on a vulgar rant, but it looks like he may have chosen to take that to a place where … well, you know, there aren’t any microphones or cameras in the vicinity.

Hoiberg has let it be known that he’s bothered by Thomas’ “carries” when he dribbles the ball, and this was something that Thomas himself even addressed when asked about it following the Celtics’ win in Game 4.
Just add this to the list of rivalries here in the 2016 NBA Playoffs — Fred Hoiberg vs. Isaiah Thomas.
