With their Game 5 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night, the Houston Rockets have advanced to the second round of the 2017 NBA Playoffs. Here’s a few reactions from Twitter.

The Houston Rockets advanced to the second round of the NBA Playoffs on Tuesday night by defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder, 105-99, in Game 5 of their best-of-seven series to win the series four games to one. Russell Westbrook tried his best to keep his historic season alive with 47 points, nine assists and 11 rebounds, just one dime shy of his fourth consecutive playoff triple-double, which would have set an NBA record. He had a fantastic third quarter, hitting big shot after big shot and scoring 20 points but he struggled shooting the basketball in the fourth quarter, going just 2-for-11 from the field.

James Harden led the way for the Rockets, scoring 34 points, but his shooting wass still a little off. The Beard went just 8-for-25 from the floor in Game 5 but once again, his supporting cast picked him up. Patrick Beverley had a nice bounce=back game with 15 points and 8 rebounds, Nene had his second consecutive outstanding effort with 14 points and 7 boards and Lou Williams made another strong case for Sixth Man of the Year with 22 points, shooting 50 percent from the floor. Let’s take a look at how Twitter reacted to the elimination.

This one went up right before the game but it’s pretty darn funny.

Thanks to our pals over at Bleacher Report for this one.

And as everyone knew would happen, there were plenty of tweets going around about Russell Westbrook.
