After the official reveal for Call of Duty: WWII, some new screenshots from the game have been released.

After three long years, Call of Duty is returning to its roots. It seems like Sledgehammer Games has heard the fans and have created Call of Duty: WWII. So far, everything we’ve heard about this game sounds awesome. From the new Nazi Zombies mode, the revamped multiplayer, and even the campaign, everything about this game looks promising. It’s all very exciting. We’re simple people, though. In this game, we don’t have to worry about people flying around anymore. That’s good enough.

The reveal showcased just about everything we wanted to see. Obviously, we would have enjoyed some actual gameplay footage. But, we know that we’ll be getting that soon enough. The trailer was actual in-game footage. It was more of a cinematic, though. We can’t say we weren’t impressed. What gives us a great look are the screenshots from a press release. This game is all about the World War II era and the screenshots make that extremely evident.

From the screenshots, you can immediately notice what Sledgehammer Games is going for here. There will be no more wall-running, no jetpacks, and nothing else that’s too bizarre. This game is going back to the traditional and classic style of gameplay that we love. It truly is a shame that we have to wait till Nov. 3 to finally play this game. But, thankfully, if you pre-order, you’ll be able to participate in a private multiplayer beta.

Not much about the multiplayer was discussed during the reveal, which is disappointing. They did confirm that we would be seeing a multiplayer reveal at E3 2017 in June, though. That’s something that we’re definitely looking forward to.
