We know that Rockstar Games currently has its hands full with Red Dead Redemption 2. However, rumors are circulating about a Bully sequel coming after.

When it comes to open-world games, Rockstar Games has revolutionized the genre. Games like Red Dead Redemption and the Grand Theft Auto series are arguably the best open-world games the industry has to offer. We’ll be able to play another masterpiece this Fall with Red Dead Redemption 2. However, there’s one game that seems to have been forgotten. Well, at least we thought. According to GTA Forums, a GTA insider has stated that Bully 2 in development and is being planned for a post RDR2 release.

The first entry, Bully, released back in 2006. Much like the GTA series, you had plenty of freedom in this game. It really isn’t as large in scope since for the entirety of the game, you’re exploring a school. Ultimately, your goal is to get around the school system and earn the respect you’re looking for in the fictional town of Bullworth. This turns into violent encounters, a bunch of pranks, and skipping class.

As of right now, if you play Bully in its current state, it doesn’t really hold up well. Then again, it is a product of its time and was a ton of fun back in the day. Technological limitations definitely held it back. We can only imagine what Rockstar would be able to do with an entirely new game.

We’ve seen what they’ve done with Grand Theft Auto V, which is a great and fun open-world game. If they can somehow implement that strategy into Bully 2, then we’re in for an incredibly entertaining game. Of course, we still have Red Dead Redemption 2 to look forward to. We haven’t seen much, but that game will undoubtedly be one of the best of the year.
