The Baltimore Ravens have seven draft picks in the 2017 NFL Draft. Here’s an updated draft order for them.

The Baltimore Ravens are at a crossroads. They know their chances of winning another Super Bowl are dimming. Perhaps this explains their aggressive nature this offseason. Traditionally, the Ravens have built through the draft, rarely spending big in free agency. However, just a year after signing Eric Weddle, they’ve added Tony Jefferson, Brandon Carr and Danny Woodhead. The Ravens realize they need to win in 2017 or there will be some significant changes, perhaps to the coaching staff and front office.

Baltimore has seven picks in the draft. They’ll likely use them to address their offense early. With the departure of Steve Smith, the Ravens need another receiving threat. Luckily, they draft early enough in the first round that they should be able to get one. The Ravens also need a pass rusher, which they will most likely address in the second round.

Tim Williams could be a target for them. The Ravens also must find a starting right tackle and most likely a center unless they sign Nick Mangold. Also, in a secondary heavy draft, expect them to draft a corner.

Round 1 – 16th overall
Round 2 – 47th overall
Round 3 – 78th overall
Round 3 – 97th overall
Round 4 – 123th overall
Round 5 – 159th overall
Round 6 – 198th overall

Ozzie Newsome and John Harbaugh know their jobs are on the line in 2017. Failure will likely result in their firing. So expect to see the Ravens add a lot of talent in the NFL draft. They could be an aggressive team who trades up (or down) at least once.
