The Buffalo Bills have six draft picks in the 2017 NFL Draft. Here’s an updated draft order for them.
After a disappointing end to their 2016 season, the Buffalo Bills must begin to replenish their roster with talent. However, they haven’t been overly active in free agency. Therefore, the Bills must turn to the draft to fill their remaining needs and build for the future. Buffalo only has six draft picks, so this could be difficult. Because they re-signed Tyrod Taylor, they don’t have to worry about drafting a quarterback. However, the Bills do have to worry about surrounding him with talent.
Buffalo is expected to grab a lot of help for their offense in the draft. It’s their largest area of need by far. The Bills’ skill players simply aren’t as good as their counterparts on the New England Patriots. While they must replace Stephon Gilmore in their secondary, it’s worth noting this is a very deep draft for cornerbacks, so they should be able to come away with at least one.

Look for the Bills to trade down to try to acquire more picks. They have holes to fill and not many picks to do it. On the bright side, three of their picks are in the top 75, so they should be able to take advantage of the deep draft early on. However, the Bills must be open to trading down if it helps net them some more draft picks. Buffalo has dug themselves into a hole and whether it’s fair or not, now they have to find a way to climb out of it.
