Denver Broncos: List of 2017 NFL Draft picks
By Brad Weiss
The Denver Broncos will have the 20th overall selection in the first round on Thursday night. Here are the rest of their picks in the 2017 NFL Draft.
The 2016 NFL season was one of disappointment for the Denver Broncos, who failed to make the playoffs one year after winning the Super Bowl. Starting quarterback Peyton Manning decided to retire after the Super Bowl, and Brock Osweiler, who was supposed to take over as the starter, moved on to the Houston Texans. The Broncos were forced to go with Trevor Siemian at quarterback last year, and despite the fact that he never started an NFL game before, he played pretty well down the stretch.
As was the case in 2015, the Broncos were loaded on defense last season, but it just was not enough to make the postseason. In 2017, the AFC West is going to be one of the better divisions in football, so making the right choices during the draft is going to be even more important this year for John Elway and company. The Broncos have the No. 20 overall pick in the first round, and while they went quarterback last year, they need to bolster their offensive line with the pick this year.
The offensive line in Denver was atrocious last season, as Russell Okung was just too inconsistent at left tackle. We like the Broncos to go with a guy like Forrest Lamp with the 20th pick, but we will have to wait until Thursday night to see which route they take. Denver will also have the last pick of the draft, which is historically referenced as Mr. Irrelevant.
Here is a complete list of their picks throughout the entire 2017 NFL Draft.

The Broncos went quarterback with their first round pick in 2016, and Paxton Lynch will have every chance to start for the team this season. This is a team that needs help up front, so do not be surprised if they roll the dice on an offensive lineman in the first round. John Elway is going to make a smart pick, and the Broncos should be a force once again in the NFL before long.
