The Los Angeles Chargers will have the seventh overall pick in the first round on Thursday night. Here is a complete list of their picks during the 2017 NFL Draft.

During the 2016 NFL Draft, the then-San Diego Chargers selected Joey Bosa from Ohio State University. While the two sides struggled to get a contract they could agree on, Bosa sat out most of the preseason, before finally appearing in 12 regular season games last season. From there, Bosa would go on to win the Associated Press Defensive Rookie of the Year Award, so the Chargers definitely made good on their first round pick last year.

In 2017, the Bolts will make their first NFL Draft pick as the Los Angeles Chargers, as they pick No. 7 overall in the first round. The Chargers made the move from San Diego this offseason, and will have to play in a soccer stadium for the next few years. Still, it is an exciting time for the organization, and having a successful draft weekend is going to be huge if they want to start moving in the right direction.

Quarterback Philip Rivers is still one of the best signal-callers in the game, and he should have his top wideout, Keenan Allen back healthy for 2017. The Chargers finished at the bottom of a very deep AFC West last season, so improvement will definitely be the goal during their first season in La La Land. The consensus pick for them at No. 7 is Malik Hooker, as the Bolts may look to the Buckeyes for their first round pick in consecutive years.

Here is a complete list of their picks throughout the entire 2017 NFL Draft.

Round 1 – 7th overall
Round 2 – 38th overall
Round 3 – 71st overall
Round 4 – 113th overall
Round 5 – 151st overall
Round 6 – 190th overall
Round 7 – 225th overall

The Chargers will head to Los Angeles in much better shape than the Rams did a year ago, though there has to be thousands of disappointed fans back in San Diego. The Bolts were an institution in San Diego for over 50 years, but the 2017 season begins a new chapter in franchise history. Will Philip Rivers lead the team back to the playoffs for the first time since the 2013 season, or will it be another year on the outside looking in?
