The Los Angeles Rams have eight picks in the 2017 NFL Draft. When do they pick?

No, there is no truth to any kind of rumor that general manager Les Snead and the Los Angeles Rams hierarchy won’t be arriving in the City of Brotherly Love until Friday morning, April 28.

Of course, that is in reference to the fact that a year ago at this time, the franchise was busy moving up in the first round. The Rams gave up several selections, as well as their first-round pick in 2017, to move up to the number-one spot and draft University of California quarterback Jared Goff. As it stands at the moment, the organization will not make a pick in the first round for the first time since 1987.

All told, the Rams still have eight selections, including a pair in both the fourth and sixth rounds. Their first choice in this year’s process comes with the 37th overall pick.

Here are their 2017 NFL Draft picks:

Round 2 – 37th overall
Round 3 – 69th overall
Round 4 – 112th overall
Round 4 – 141st overall
Round 5 – 149th overall
Round 6 – 189th overall
Round 7 – 223rd overall
Round 7 – 234th overall

Led by new head coach Sean McVay, the Rams are in search of their first playoff berth since 2004 and first winning campaign since finishing 12-4 and winning the NFC West since ’03. Unfortunately, the club is coming off a 4-12 season will enter the 2017 season riding a seven-game losing streak – the longest-such active streak in the NFL.

It’s going to be odd not to see the Los Angeles Rams make on Day/Night One. The franchise has made a half-dozen first-round selections in the past four drafts dating back to 2013. Obviously, this will be a different kind of draft for the franchise. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
