The Oakland Raiders had a horrifying end to an incredible season in 2016, and will look to continue to improve in 2017. Here are their draft picks.

In 2016, the Oakland Raiders finally started to click, as they became one of the best teams in the AFC. Armed with one of the best young quarterbacks in the league, Oakland’s offense was a juggernaut at times, thanks to some incredible passing by Derek Carr. The defense was led by Khalil Mack, a former first round pick of the Raiders who has established himself as one of the best defensive players in the NFL.

As they look towards 2017, the organization has to be happy with where they are headed. All of their top players want to stay in the organization, even as they make the eventual move to Las Vegas. Team owner Mark Davis was forced to move the team out of Oakland starting in the 2020 season, which could make tensions high at the Oakland Coliseum this year.

Still, the Raiders have some of the best fans in the country, and whether they stay in Oakland or not, is not going to change that. Their first pick in this year’s draft will be the No. 24 selection in the first round, and they should look to draft a running back with the pick. Starter Latavius Murray has moved on to Minnesota, and if the team cannot swing a deal with Marshawn Lynch, they will have a huge hole to fill at the position heading into this season.

Here is a complete list of their picks throughout the entire 2017 NFL Draft.

Round 1 – 24th overall
Round 2 – 56th overall
Round 3 – 88th overall
Round 4 – 130th overall
Round 5 – 168th overall
Round 6 – 208th overall
Round 7 – 242nd overall
Round 7 – 244th overall

After winning 12 games last season, the Raiders look to be one of the teams to beat in the AFC in 2017. If Carr comes back healthy, this team could do something special, as the franchise looks for its first Super Bowl win since 1983. They have done a nice job with the draft since Reggie McKenzie became the general manager, and Raiders fans are hoping they hit another home run this year.
