Corey Davis

WR, Western Michigan

The Baltimore Ravens once again failed to make the playoffs, and appear to be a franchise that is heading in the wrong direction. They still have some talented players on the roster, including at quarterback, where Joe Flacco is still one of the best in the AFC. However, Flacco lost his best wide receiver weapon this offseason, as Steve Smith Sr. retired, so filling that void is going to be a priority tonight.

Corey Davis is rated as the top wide receiver on many boards, but we like him to be the second one off the board in the first round. Davis showed during his time at Western Michigan that he can be a difference maker on the field, nearly leading his Broncos to an undefeated season in 2016. The would eventually lose to Wisconsin in their bowl game, but Davis’ season was the best the school had ever seen from a wideout.

The Ravens need playmakers, whether it is on offense, or defense. Davis is the kind of player who is going to come in and make plays right away, and can really go up and get the ball. Flacco loves to throw the deep ball, and with Davis on the outside, he is going to get plenty of opportunities to stretch the field in a very competitive AFC North next season.
