While the Astro Open may not have the biggest names in CSGO, DreamHack Austin should still be able to attract a crowd. Fans will be looking for Cloud9, Immortals and Team Liquid to play well on their home turf, and having adreN onboard as an analyst will be intriguing given that he’s the former in-game leader for Liquid.
But Gambit did impress at the recent cs_summit, and G2 just overhauled their roster with former EnVyUs members in February, so DreamHack Austin is far from a walkover for the North American squads. It could get dicey out there which means more entertainment for the fans. Plus, any event hosted by Machine is guaranteed to provide several moments of real, genuine laughter.
But who will get the last laugh and hoist the trophy? You’ll have to tune in and find out.
