Manchester United face Manchester City at Etihad Stadium on Thursday, April 27. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
There aren’t many rivalries that match the Manchester derby in England. As Manchester United visit Manchester City the stakes will be high for both squads. Separated by only one point in the table, both managers need wins to secure a place in the top four. City are coming off of a tough extra time loss against Arsenal in the semifinal of the FA Cup on Sunday. United are coming off two huge wins, against league leaders Chelsea and Burnley in fortress Turf Moor.
Jose Mourinho and United will be playing their second game without leading scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic. United will be without Ibrahimovic for the rest of the season, and likely the first part of the next season. They adjusted versus Burnley by playing Wayne Rooney out wide and starting Martial as the striker.
City had a lackluster performance against Arsenal and need to get in the top four in Pep’s first season. Without the FA Cup, City are looking like they’ll end the season with no silverware. Finishing outside the top four in Pep’s first year would be unacceptable.
