1. The Celtics are here to play

It may seem odd that we’re celebrating the fact that a number one seed in the playoffs is finally ready to win in the playoffs. If you watched the first two games of this series, it’s not. The current players on the Celtics roster have very little playoff experience, with the exception of Al Horford. So, there were questions about whether or not the Celtics could perform under the pressure of the playoffs.

The short answer is yes, but it took them a while to get there.

Isaiah Thomas looked like his natural self in Games 1 and 2. He went out on the court, dropped 30 points, and was sensational on offense. No biggie. The rest of the team, though, was terrible, including Horford. It took the Celtics two games to fully get into the playoff mindset before they took charge of the Bulls.

Now that they’re ready, they look more focused than ever. They should blow by the Wizards with no problems, and be ready to face the Cavs in the Eastern Conference Finals. Watch out; the Celtics are no joke.
