The Oregon Ducks will participate in their annual Spring Game on Saturday, April 29, and here is how you can watch all of the action online.

Last season, the Oregon Ducks looked to be one of the teams to beat in the Pac-12 South, armed with yet another graduate transfer quarterback. Dakota Prukop was supposed to lead this team back to the College Football Playoff, but instead, he gave way to freshman Justin Herbert during the season. Herbert did a nice job the rest of the way, and though he’ll be pushed this offseason, he should be back under center for the Ducks in 2017.

Also returning for Oregon is star running back Royce Freeman, who should be one of the best backs in the country this season. Freeman battled injuries last season but decided to forgo the NFL Draft and head back to campus for one more go-around. Oregon struggled to get stops last season, and once again, it will be the defense that decides whether this team finishes in the bottom of the division or returns to its past glory.

The Ducks have some solid Freshman on the roster this season, including three who should make an impact on defense. Nose tackle Jordon Scott looks like a beast, and cornerbacks Thomas Graham and Brady Breeze may end up in the starting lineup. Head coach Willie Taggart is the new face in town, as the Ducks fired Mark Helfrich after a bad 2017 season, and he should bring a winning attitude to the program.

Spring Games are always a good time, and it will be interesting to see how Taggart’s style of play meshes with the current roster.

The combination of Herbert and Freeman should lead to a ton of points for the Ducks this season, but that may not be enough in a tough Pac-12 South Division. Oregon has a long way to go in their journey to become one of the nation’s elite again, but head coach Willie Taggart should be able to get them there. This is going to be a fun team to watch, and Saturday’s Spring Game should give fans a taste of what’s to come.
