The Ottawa Senators look to grab a 2-0 series lead over the New York Rangers in Game 2 on Saturday. Here’s how you can watch it via live stream.
The Ottawa Senators have been one of the best stories in the NHL this season. They’ve overcome a lot of adversity and have a lot of fun players to root for on their team. Their Cinderella run is going well after a Game 1 win over the New York Rangers. Erik Karlsson’s game winning goal with just under five minutes left in the game gave them a 2-1 win. Now Ottawa looks to grab a 2-0 series lead before the series heads to New York. Game 2 will be held on Saturday April 29 starting at 3:00 p.m. ET.
Ottawa has been relying heavily on Karlsson and star goaltender Craig Anderson. The latter is an especially great story because he took a leave of absence earlier this season to care for his ailing wife. Clarke MacArthur has been productive after many though he’d never play in the NHL again due to injuries. Bobby Ryan is doing a heck of a job after one of the toughest regular seasons of his career.
On the other side of the ice, the Rangers look to avoid a 2-0 series deficit. It’s worth noting no team won more games on the road during the regular season than the blue shirts. So they have a good chance of pulling of a win in Game 2. The Rangers will, however, need more from their offense to get past Ottawa.
