Jalen Reeves-Maybin

Linebacker, Tennessee

Reeves-Maybin would have been a second round pick but he has shoulder issues. It is kind of funny the Lions passed on Foster for shoulder issues and off-field questions then took Reeves-Maybin and Tabor right after. Still, Reeves-Maybin can play a similar role to Foster and will be a great presence in the passing game. There is a good chance he can see the field early in the nickel, but his frame and shoulder issues give him a low ceiling.

Michael Roberts

Tight End, Toledo

Roberts was an underrated tight end in a deep class for the position. He is not an elite athlete like a lot of these players, but he can block and that is something most of the current tight ends on the roster cannot do. He should win a roster spot easily making it a solid pick.

165

Jamal Agnew

Cornerback, San Diego

Agnew is likely a slot cornerback and the Lions do not have many on the roster which gives him a leg up on the competition.

205

Jeremiah Ledbetter

Defensive Line, Arkansas

Ledbetter can likely slide inside and out in different alignments. That combined, with their need for depth on the defensive line, gives him a solid chance to make the team.

215

Brad Kaaya

Quarterback, Miami

Kaaya was the surprise faller of the quarterbacks. He is leaps and bounds better than Jake Rudock and should easily be the backup in Detroit by the end of the summer.

250

Pat O'Connor

Defensive Line, Eastern Michigan

O’Connor is another player who can win a roster spot due to the lack of talent and depth on the defensive line. He may play some special teams as well.
