WWE Payback 2017 results: Bayley vs Alexa Bliss video highlights

Here are all the highlights from the Raw Women’s Championship match between Bayley and Alexa Bliss at Payback

At WrestleMania 33, Bayley retained her title against Charlotte, Nia Jax, and Sasha Banks in an elimination match. While Alexa Bliss lost her SmackDown Women’s title to Naomi. The night after WrestleMania, Vince McMahon appeared on Monday Night Raw and announced the following week there would be a superstar shakeup. Bliss would leave SmackDown and join Raw. Immediately, Bliss made her intentions clear, she was after the Raw Women’s Championship. If Bliss wins the title, she will be the first women to win both Women’s championships.

Bliss went on to defeat Banks, Jax and Raw newcomer Mickie James in a fatal four way to gain the right to face Bayley at Payback. In a backstage segment, Bliss attacked Bayley leaving the champion lying. At Payback, Bayley will look to get revenge on Bliss in her hometown.

The hometown crowd was behind Bayley as she entered the ring. Bayley used the crowd to her advantage early, as she opened the match controlling the offense. As the match progressed, Bayley attempted to hit the Belly to Bayley following an elbow drop.

However, Bliss began to take control of the match after she sent Bayley head first into the turnbuckle. Alexa continued her offense hitting a sunset flip powerbomb in the corner. However, she could only manage a two count.

Alexa Bliss hit a DDT and was finally able to get a three count. Becoming the first woman to win both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships.
