Here’s how you can watch Monday night’s tilt between the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins via live stream.
The Pittsburgh Penguins have jumped out to a 2-0 series lead over the Washington Capitals. Game 2 saw them beat the Caps handedly 6-2. Now the series is heading to Pittsburgh and the Caps are behind the eight ball. They’ll get a chance to turn the series around in Game 3 as they face a must win situation. Washington can’t afford to let Pittsburgh get a 3-0 lead in the series.
Braden Holtby has not been playing well for the Caps. He must be better for Washington to win, as his team is constantly outshooting the Penguins. To be fair, Pens netminder Marc-Andre Fleury has been outstanding, allowing just four goals in two games. But Holtby has to be better if the Caps want to win. Despite being down 2-0 in the series, Washington has been dominating the shot attempts stat, so that gives them a little bit of hope.
On the other side of the ice, the Penguins look to grab a 3-0 series lead. They hold all the momentum with the series heading home, where the Pens have been extremely good. Sidney Crosby and Phil Kessel have been leading the way. Fleury has been outstanding when they’ve needed him to be. The Penguins must prepare for a very motivated Caps team who will be looking to take control of the series over the next two games.
