The true identity of Savitar is set to be revealed in an episode of The Flash that you probably don’t want to miss if you consider yourself a fan.

The Flash has played things pretty close to the vest in season 3 when it comes to its big bad. While there was uncertainty about both Reverse-Flash and Zoom, we’re heading into episode 20 with no real guarantee that we know who Savitar is.

Yes, there are theories. Plenty of them. The most popular one seems to be that the self-professed “God of Speed” is an evil Barry Allen from the future, a development that would likely split fandom in half.

Yet there’s still a chance that the writers won’t have to explain why Barry, even one from the future, would kill the love of his life. And by that I mean that Savitar could still turn out to be someone else. We have our own educated guess on who that might be.

Oh, and there’s other stuff going on in episode 20 too. There’s a healthy dose of Killer Frost in store, and perhaps some tough choices for Cisco Ramon. We all saw what happened to Vibe when he tangled with his (former?) friend last episode and it wasn’t pretty. At all.

There are also apparently developments on the Joe and Cecile front, and if we know anything about The Flash, some or possibly all of these subplots are going to get mashed up together before it’s all said and done.
