Can the St. Louis Blues hang on against the Nashville Predators? Here’s how you can watch Game 5 of their series via live stream.
The Nashville Predators magical postseason run has been amazing. They currently lead the St. Louis Blues 3-1 in their second round series after sweeping the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round. Led by one of the best blue lines in the NHL, Nashville is on the verge of going to their first ever Western Conference Final. But first, they will have to get past the Blues, who will be playing at home in Game 5 on Friday.
Ryan Ellis has been leading the way for Nashville with a team-high nine points. Goaltender Pekka Rinne, initially seen as a weakness on the team, has been nothing short of phenomenal in the postseason. Filip Forsberg is tied for second on Nashville with seven points, along with teammate Ryan Johansen. Their transition game has been stellar and their defense has been extremely tough.
On the other side of the ice, the Blues came into the second round on a roll. However, Nashville has curb stomped them into a 3-1 hole. The Blues will have to overcome a very good team in order to keep their Stanley Cup hopes alive. Jake Allen has been good, but not great. But ultimately, it’s been on his teammates in front of him, as they haven’t been able to score on Rinne.
