Bayern Munich vs. Darmstadt live stream: Watch Bundesliga online

Bayern Munich face Darmstadt at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, May 6. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Bayern Munich won their fifth consecutive Bundesliga title last week after defeating Wolfsburg 6-0 and Leipzig drew with Ingolstadt. Darmstadt are last in the table and need to win their three remaining games just to qualify for the relegation playoff.

Bayern opened the scoring against Wolfsburg with a beautiful free kick from David Alba. Robert Lewandowski scored twice before halftime to give him a Bundesliga-leading 28 goals this season. Two Lewandowski misses led to goals from Thomas Muller and Joshua Kimmich, while Arjen Robben delivered his trademark goal as he cut to his left and scored.

Bayern manager Carlo Ancelotti will likely use the last three games to play younger players such as Kingsley Coman, Renato Sanches and Kimmich. Saturday will be the second to last home game for captain Philipp Lahm and Xabi Alonso, who are both retiring after the season.

Former Bayern midfielder and current Darmstadt manager Torsten Frings are still alive in the relegation battle after defeating Freiburg 3-0. Felix Platte opened the scoring in the 22nd minute. Jerome Gondorf scored a header off a set piece for the Lillies to double their lead before halftime. In the second half, Sven Schipplock sealed the win in the 65th minute.

Despite sitting at opposite ends of the table, Bayern were only able to beat Darmstadt 1-0 in their first meeting this season. Expect Bayern to beat Darmstadt by a much larger margin this time. A loss would end Darmstadt’s nine-year run in the Bundesliga. Darmstadt’s Bundesliga run is rather incredible considering they were in the fifth tier of German football in the 1999-2000 season.
