The Pittsburgh Penguins can eliminate the Washington Capitals on Saturday in Game 5. Here’s how you can watch the game online via live stream.
Despite not having Sidney Crosby in the lineup, the Pittsburgh Penguins were able to pull off a 3-2 win over the Washington Capitals on Wednesday. This puts them up 3-1 in the series over the Caps. Game 5 will be held at the Verizon Center in Washington DC starting at 7:15 p.m. ET. For the Caps, it’s a must win game.
Pittsburgh has been relentless throughout the series, despite not having star defenseman Kris Letang. Their depth has been a huge reason for their success thus far. However, they are getting a bit of help from Braden Holtby, who is not having an ideal series. Evgeni Malkin, Phil Kessel and Justin Schultz have been leading the way for Pittsburgh. Marc-Andre Fleury has also played brilliantly in what might be his last postseason run with the Penguins.
On the other side of the ice, it’s now or never for Washington. Alex Ovechkin and his team have not been able to capitalize on opportunities this series. They’ll be playing very desperately in Game 5, as they’d like nothing more than to extend their season. Changes could be coming for the Caps if they can’t pull off a miraculous comeback to win the series.
