Here’s how you can watch the 2017 Kentucky Derby online via live stream.

The Kentucky Derby will be held on May 6, 2017. It’s the most exciting race in all of sports. The Derby also marks the unofficial start to the horse racing season and the Triple Crown. It will be held, as always, at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. This year, the race should prove to be a very exciting one with several of the top horses in the world racing.

Three-year old horses, whether they be colts or fillies, race against each other in the Derby. However, this year, no female horses will be in the race. In fact, a filly hasn’t won the race since the 1990’s.

Sadly, this year doesn’t feature any extremely fun names, though there are some catchy ones. Sonneteer is definitely one of the best. Lookin At Lee is a very fun name, might be the best in the field. Classic Empire, at 4-1 odds, is the favorite to win. Always Dreaming and McCracken aren’t far behind at 5-1 odds.

With no clear favorite and track conditions looking good, this should be a very exciting race. There are a few long shots who stand a pretty good chance of shaking up the field. This year, the race should be very close with a pretty impressive and well-rounded field. Television coverage starts at 2:00 p.m. ET and continues through 7:00 p.m. ET. Be sure to watch it while sipping on a mint julep, the signature cocktail of the Kentucky Derby. It should be a very fun time and should live up to the title of most exciting two minutes in sports.
