Here’s an updated look at the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs bracket after the Nashville Predators upset the St. Louis Blues in six games.

In the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Nashville Predators swept the Chicago Blackhawks. Their magical postseason run carried over into the second round, as the Preds have eliminated the St. Louis Blues in six games. After a 3-1 Game 6 win over the Blues, for the first time in franchise history, Nashville’s going to the Western Conference Finals. Ryan Johansen gets credit for the game-winning goal, scoring early in the third period.

Next round, they will face either the Anaheim Ducks or the Edmonton Oilers. Either one will present an interesting challenge for Nashville. Currently, the Ducks are up 3-2 in their series over the Oilers. However, anything can happen in the postseason. Nashville is familiar with Anaheim, as they beat them in the first round of the playoffs last year.

This is the second upset of the playoffs for the Predators. Their Cinderella story is continuing, and it might well continue through the Stanley Cup Finals. Here’s an updated look at the postseason bracket after Nashville’s series win over the Blues.

The Predators are getting a lot of production out of their blue line. Against the Blues, Ryan Ellis, Roman Josi and P.K. Subban each stepped up. Filip Forsberg, Viktor Arvidsson and Ryan Johansen, who were amazing against the Blackhawks, were held in line by the Blues. However, the blue line trio proved to be too much for St. Louis to handle.

Pekka Rinne has emerged as a strong Conn Smythe candidate. After a rough regular season, he has been phenomenal in the postseason. Rinne has kept both the Blackhawks and Blues in check with the help of the impressive blue line in front of him. Now Nashville’s just one round away from their Stanley Cup Finals appearance.
