Draymond Green calls kettle black, Kelly Olynyk a “dirty player”

Golden State Warriors Forward Draymond Green called Kelly Olynyk a dirty player, on the Uninterrupted’s podcast Monday.
Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors called Kelly Olynyk of the Boston Celtics a “dirty player.” These remarks come a few days after the fight Olynyk had with Washington Wizards forward Kelly Oubre. Olynyk set a screen and it looked as though he purposely elbowed Oubre in the face.
Oubre didn’t take it too kindly and charged at Olynyk leading him to get ejected from the game, and ultimately suspended for his teams next game. This isn’t the first time that Olynyk has been called a “dirty player”, as Kevin Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers referred to him as when when Olynyk dislocated Love’s shoulder on a rebound attempt two years ago.
Here’s the full quote from Green on Olynyk:
Although there is quite a bit of evidence now that Olynyk can be perceived as a dirty player, Green might be the wrong guy accusing him of it. Green has had his fair share of criticism in the past for being a “dirty player”, as he has become notorious for kicking players in the groin.

Green is also a very outspoken player, so it is no surprise that he made these remarks about Olynyk. Although Olynyk isn’t the same caliber of player that Green is stat wise, they both share some similarities in regards to their hardcore play styles. Helping your team win is a main priority for these players as it should be, but hurting another player in the process should not be taken lightly. Olynyk has yet to comment on the situation.
