The Warriors completed their sweep over the Jazz in the conference semifinals, and await the winner of the Spurs-Rockets for their conference final matchup.

The Golden State Warriors completed their sweep of the Utah Jazz with ease, with no game ending in a deficit less than double-digits. Now, the defending conference champions can relax and await their next opponent.

The Warriors didn’t struggle at any point in the series, winning their home games by 12 and 11 points, respectively. They then went to Utah, won by 11 in Game 3, and closed out the series with a 121-95 win to complete the sweep.

Golden State has been the favorite to win the Western Conference for a long time, and advance to their third straight conference finals. Last year, the team won a close, historic 4-3 series against Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Now, Durant finds himself on the other side, hoping to advance to his first NBA Finals since his Thunder lost to the Miami Heat in 2012.

The team will now have to watch the rest of the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets semifinals matchup to find where they’re headed next. The series is tied at two games a piece, and the Spurs hold the home court advantage in the equivalent of a three-game series.

The Spurs took home the season series 2-1 against the Warriors, while the Warriors won three of four games against the Rockets in the regular season. While the Warriors may root for the Rockets based on their regular season history, the Spurs are without starting point guard Tony Parker indefinitely. The matchup may work better for the Warriors if San Antonio pulls it out, as Steph Curry would go up against Patty Mills, rather than Parker.
