4. Blake Griffin over Pau Gasol… twice.

April 4, 2012; a day that will live in infamy for Lakers fans.

On this night, Blake Griffin ignited a transfer of power in Los Angeles. A city that had previously been painted purple and yellow, now bled red, white and blue.

As the Kobe Bryant era began winding down and the Lakers’ win total began to plummet, three stars were making headlines for the Clippers.

Along with DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul; a young Blake Griffin was beginning to appear on highlight reels nearly every night. And on April 4, he gave L.A. two vicious reasons to switch over to the red side.

Just a minute into the game, on the ricochet of a missed uncontested shot, Blake Griffin soared above the rest. Griffin came flying in from nowhere and rose above teammate DeAndre Jordan and the Lakers’ Pau Gasol.

Griffin finished the rebound with authority and the look on Gasol’s face said it all. Gasol, who had been turned facing the basket, wore a mask of fear as Griffin rose up and scored over him. Gasol fell to the floor and as Griffin trotted away, looked down at Gasol briefly to assert his dominance.

Fast forward to the midway point of the third quarter.

Caron Butler found Griffin off a screen and Griffin locked his sights on Gasol once again. Griffin, for the second time in the game, threw down a ruthless dunk over the Spanish big man. However, this time, Griffin shoved Gasol onto the floor on his way down. Luckily for Griffin, Jordan was able to shove him away to avoid a technical, but the split second stare-down was all Griffin needed to disregard Gasol once more.

Now, to the top three most disrespectful dunks in the history of the league.
