It’s time for all the brains on Team Flash to put their heads together, along with a relative newcomer, to try to nullify Savitar’s inherent advantage.

Did you see that twist coming last week on The Flash? Many fans did, in fact, guess the true identity of Savitar before he stepped out of the armor to confront Barry Allen.

Still, as G.I. Joe would say, knowing is half the battle. The other half is doing something with the knowledge you have, and that is the trickier part for Team Flash with just three episodes left in season 3.

Let’s break it down. There’s a very good reason Savitar knows Barry’s every move, but is it possible to change that status quo? Our heroes will attempt just that in this week’s installment, “Cause and Effect.”

There’s also Tracy Brand to consider. The young scientist will one day concoct a way to trap Savitar in the Speed Force, but Barry and friends need her to do it now. Luckily, H.R. Wells is around to give Tracy self-confidence, possibly in exchange for her phone number.

Last but certainly not least, Killer Frost is still running around helping Savitar. But as the synopsis for episode 21 reveals, she might be having a change of heart. Or at least she’s out to throw a monkey wrench into the dynamic of hero vs. villain showdown, which could be good or bad.

That’s a lot going on, but that’s what should be happening so close to the season finale. Here’s the info you’ll need to catch “Cause and Effect” live or shortly thereafter:
