Blizzard let’s us take a look back at Overwatch Uprising through some interesting statistics.
Overwatch players were treated to a particularly good limited-time event in April that pitted heroes against Omnics in Overwatch Uprising.
Blizzard has taken some time to compile data from the event and recently released an infographic featuring the information that they found.
Unsurprisingly, the unique PvE brawl that came with Overwatch Uprising was widely popular among Overwatch players. In total, 145,506,333 Uprising brawls were played. Of that number, over 53 percent of brawls ended in defeat. This sounds sad, but actually makes perfect sense, as players continually tried their hand at harder and harder difficulty levels.
Speaking of the difficulty levels, players won 75 percent of the time when playing on normal. The win percentage dropped to 28 percent on hard and to a mere 3 percent on expert. And less than one percent of matches were won when the difficulty was set to legendary. We guess those that managed to win on legendary were truly legendary.
Altogether, over 8 billion Omnic robots were destroyed in Uprising brawls. The most Omnics kills by a single player in a single game is 2,360 by a PS4 player, followed by 2,155 on Xbox One, and 1,911 on PC. The highest score a team achieved in a single brawl was a whopping 27,511.
Two versions of the Uprising brawl came with the Overwatch event, one which followed strictly with the lore of the game and forced players to choose only between four heroes (Torbjorn, Tracer, Mercy, Reinhardt), and another which allowed players to choose any hero from the roster.

Blizzard found that the most used heroes were Bastion, Mercy, Orisa and Solider 76. However, the heroes that had the highest win rate across all difficult levels were Lucio, Symmetra, Torbjorn and D.Va. Heroes that had the highest win rate on legendary were Zenyatta, Orisa, Reinhardt and Bastion.
Finally, over 815 million Uprising lootboxes were earned during the course of the event. That’s a lot of loot. We hope you were lucky enough to get all the items you wanted.
