Lyon face Ajax at Parc Olympique Lyonnais on Thursday, May 11. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

In the first leg of their Europa League semifinal tie against Lyon, Ajax took advantage of playing in Amsterdam, winning 4-1. The three-goal lead will be difficult to overcome, but not impossible for Lyon. The French club currently sit fourth in Ligue 1, 23 points behind Monaco. Ajax are one point behind first-place Feyenoord in the Eredivisie with one match left to play.

In the first leg, Bertrand Traore opened the scoring with a header off of a set piece in the 25th minute. Nine minutes later a terrible clearance by Lyon keeper Anthony Lopes was headed by Traore to Kasper Dolberg, who went in all alone and scored to make it 2-0.

Amin Younes had his chance to make it 3-0 in the first half saved by Lopes. Less than three minutes into the second half, Younes was able to just get the ball over the line before Lyon could clear it. Lyon got on the scoreboard after the Ajax defender headed a cross right to Mathieu Valbuena who scored an important away goal. Traore scored his second of the game on a beautiful piece of passing from the Ajax attack.

If Lyon have any chance of advancing it will likely be because Alexandre Lacazette has a big game. The French striker has 31 goals in 40 games in all competitions this season. It is the second time in three years that Lacazette has reached those figures. In the first leg, Lyon manager Bruno Genesio opted to have Lacazette come off the bench.
