Bournemouth face Burnley at Dean Court on Saturday, May 13. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
This weekend, Burnley head down to Dorset for a late-season fixture against Bournemouth. The visitors, 14th in the Premier League with 40 points, will be taking on a Cherries side that sits 11th with 42 points.
Burnley have a chance to officially secure their place in the Premier League next season on Saturday, as a single point would make it impossible for Hull to catch them. The Clarets are coming off a 2-2 home draw with West Brom last Saturday, having won a week prior at Crystal Palace.
Bournemouth, on the other hand, have little at stake in this match, but will hope for a win in their last home game of the season. They also drew their last match, 2-2 at home to Stoke City last Saturday. The Cherries are only a few weeks removed from their 4-0 thrashing of Middlesbrough on April 22. They’re unbeaten in their last three games stretching back to that win over Boro, having defeated Sunderland away the next week.
The last time these teams met, back on Dec. 10, Burnley won 3-2, with goals from Jeff Hendrick, Stephen Ward and George Boyd. Bournemouth scored in injury time to cut the deficit to one, but their comeback attempt was too-little-too-late at Turf Moor.
