Houston Rockets guard James Harden has been reportedly sued by Moses Malone Jr. for planning to assault and rob the son of the Basketball Hall of Famer.

Things are not going over very well in regards to the Houston Rockets. Not only did they get absolutely humiliated at home by the division rival San Antonio Spurs at home in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals, but star player in guard James Harden has found himself in a mess of trouble.

According to FOX 26’s Isiah Carey in Houston, “Harden has been sued and accused of masterminding a plan to assault and rob the son of NBA legend…Moses Malone Jr.” The lawsuit by Malone states that “Harden paid a group of people $20,000 in cash to attack and rob Malone at V-Live Strip club” in Houston over a year ago.

The news of this lawsuit comes after the worst game of Harden’s life. He looked out of it in the Rockets’ pathetic loss at home in Game 6 to the Spurs. Harden had another MVP-caliber season, but once again failed to show up in a moment of need for the Rockets.

Reportedly paying random people to attack the son of another Rockets legend at a strip club just sounds strange. Harden is known to visit many of the strips clubs in Houston since joining the team in 2013.

Carey reported that “several people connected to the assault have been charged criminally.” Harden’s lawyer Rusty Hardin believes that the allegations pertaining to his client are untrue stating, “I am afraid this is just another example of people shopping for a deep pocket whey they find that the people actually have no money.”

This is an odd development going on in Houston to say the very least. Malone appears to have been assaulted. There is a chance this story isn’t going to go away any time soon.
