Antonio Cromartie to father 14th child

Yup, Antonio Cromartie will be blessed with another child in the near future.

While mothers celebrated their special day on Sunday, it was extra exciting for Antonio Cromartie’s wife, Terricka. Mrs. Cromartie broke the news on Instagram that the couple was having yet another child. This will be Cromartie’s sixth kid with Terricka; he now will have 14 kids in total. That is a lot of catches Cromartie will have to make time for. It is unknown whether the newest member of the family is a boy or a girl. Here was Terricka’s Instagram post:

While Cromartie should certainly be anticipating the birth of his child, the defensive back still remains a free agent. His last action came in 2016 with Indianapolis for just four games. He is hardly the corner he once was, a physical and lengthy defensive back who was looking to redirect at the line of scrimmage.

An 11-year veteran, this is a player who is probably just worth taking a flyer on at this point. Anyone looking for an established presence in the secondary can look at Cromartie, but by no means should he be relied upon.

Cromartie’s career took off as a first-round pick out of Florida State. Drafted by the San Diego Chargers, the corner registered 10 interceptions back in 2007. His best years were seen early in San Diego, and for a stretch with the Rex Ryan-led New York Jets. Cromartie spent a single season in Arizona back in 2014, and then came back to play for the Jets the following season.
