My DraftKings golf picks and lineups

Stars and Studs

Dustin Johnson ($12,500)
Brooks Koepka ($10,200)
Graham DeLaet ($7,600)
Jonathan Randolph ($6,700)
Zac Blair ($6,600)
Anirban Lahiri ($6,400)

The concept of this lineup is both a popular one on DraftKings, but also one filled with risk. Anytime you go all-in on two of the top-tier guys, you better hope that they perform. More than that, though, you better hope that the value picks at the bottom of the salary scale are going to be able to deliver.

The Mid-Tier Load-Up

Louis Oosthuizen ($9,700)
Brandt Snedeker ($8,400)
Russell Henley ($8,300)
Charl Schwartzel ($8,100)
Byeong-Hun An ($8,000)
J.J. Spaun ($7,300)

If you want to value consistency with your DraftKings golf picks by loading up with mid-tier guys, this is the lineup for you. I feel largely confident thatthese guys will be around on the weekend without question, which is one of the biggest keys to building a successful lineup. However, there’s also nice upside with this lineup as well as Oosthuizen and Snedeker are possible winner picks to me.

My Ideal DraftKings Lineup

Brooks Koepka ($10,200)
Louis Oosthuizen ($9,700)
Brandt Snedeker ($8,400)
JT Poston ($7,300)
J.J. Spaun ($7,300)
Nick Taylor ($6,900)

This is somewhat of a combination of the stars and studs and the mid-tier heavy lineups for my ideal lineup. There’s great value with guys like Spaun, Poston and Taylor. Meanwhile, guys like Koepka and Ooosthuizen are going to be in a strong position throughout the week. The key to this lineup could be Snedeker coming off the injury, but I believe in him after having taken time off.
