While it is sure to be a swell night on Tuesday night at the New York Hilton Midtown on Tuesday, when and where is the upcoming draft?
The 2017 NBA Draft will by in the same great metropolis of New York on Thursday, June 22. It will be held at the home of the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center at precisely 7:00 p.m. ET. The Barclays Center usually does a phenomenal job of hosting the NBA Draft. Look for more of the same later this summer.
On June 22, many of the world’s best young talents on the hardwood will have the great pleasure of finding out where they begin their NBA career. The NBA Draft is always a good time for so many reasons.
Many of the attendees end up wearing ridiculous suits like Jalen Rose did back in the 1990s. Sometimes the team picking at No. 1 overall doesn’t know what it’s doing and guys like Anthony Bennett shockingly go ahead of literally everybody else on the draft board. We can also always expect a few head-scratching trades to happen involving the draft rights of a fine hoops prospect.
