The Voice reveals which four season 12 singers are headed to the finals. Here’s how you can watch the Live Semifinal Results live, on TV and online.
Tuesday is judgement day on NBC‘s The Voice. The singing competition will reveal its season 12 finalists in tonight’s eliminations show, and in so doing cut its field in half from eight hopefuls to just four.
Season 12, episode 26 is called “Live Semifinal Results” and it won’t be just a straight-up reveal either. Only three of the finalists will be decided by America’s votes. The fourth, once again, will be based on social media voting in the Twitter Instant Save.
And unlike the previous weeks, only the artists who came in fourth, fifth and sixth in Monday’s voting will be eligible for Instant Save consideration. The bottom two singers are immediately sent home from The Voice.
In addition to the lengthy elimination process, The Voice will also feature performances by Big Boi (with coach Adam Levine) and DNCE on Tuesday. But the real talk will be about who goes home and who still has a chance to be named “The Voice.”
Here’s how NBC officially describes the episode:
"America will vote to keep the top three artists in the competition. After these finalists are revealed, the bottom two artists will be sent home immediately, while the middle three artists will compete in the Instant Save for the last spot in the finale."
