Here’s a roundup of the latest news and transfer rumors surrounding which players could be joining new teams in the coming months.

According to Italian source Gianluca Di Marzio, AC Milan have beaten Roma to win the transfer race for Ivorian sensation Franck Kessie.

The 20-year-old midfielder, who’s registered six goals and three assists in his debut Serie A campaign, has reached terms with the Rossoneri on a five-year contract.

That pact will be worth €2.5 million per year, and Milan will pay Atalanta €28 million to sign Kessie, Goal reports.

With agreements in place between all three parties involved, the only question left is when Kessie will officially become an AC Milan player.

Di Marzio states he’ll ink his contract after one of Atalanta’s final two league matches, setting the stage for his deal to be confirmed by the Italian federation once the season concludes.

Thanks to the financial backing of new Chinese ownership, Kessie figures to be the first of a few marquee additions by Milan this summer.

Whereas Kessie is destined to arrive in Milan, Inter forward Ivan Perisic could very well be on his way out of the city.

According to The Sun, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are the top contenders for Perisic’s services, and the French club is prepared to offer Inter a cash-plus-player deal to ensure they acquire him.

Specifically, PSG could offset Inter’s £50 million asking price by dangling attacker Angel di Maria or defender Marquinhos in return.

Although either one of those players would surely tempt the Nerazzurri, talkSport relays a report from Italian outlet Tuttosport claiming club president Piero Ausilio has still decided to travel to London on Wednesday for discussions with United.

With manager Jose Mourinho an admirer of Perisic’s skill set, the Red Devils are reportedly prepared to extend an initial offer of £34 million for the Croatian, who boasts 10 goals and eight assists this season.

The situation comes full circle, however, when considering Spanish publication Sport’s report that United are also targeting Marquinhos in the summer window.

The Manchester Evening News details the story, which suggests PSG have told United it will cost £60 million to sign the Brazilian, who garnered interest from Barcelona last year.

At 23 years old, Marquinhos is considered one of the most promising defenders in Europe, making a potential partnership with Eric Bailly an enticing proposition.

Nonetheless, it wouldn’t be surprising if the club’s pursuit of him is influenced in some fashion by the outcome of their and PSG’s battle for Perisic.

A more straightforward deal could be Romelu Lukaku returning to Chelsea, which Di Marzio reports could already be in the works.

Fresh off being crowned Premier League champions last week, Chelsea have reportedly made contact with Lukaku’s representatives ahead of a transfer.

The 24-year-old, who currently leads England’s top-flight with 24 goals, is thought to welcome the opportunity to rejoin Chelsea, who owned his rights from 2011 to 2014.

With Diego Costa leaving for China this summer, Lukaku represents an ideal replacement atop manager Antonio Conte’s attack, and Chelsea certainly sport the finances to pay the £70 million transfer fee Everton are expected to require to release the Belgian.
