Who will win more games in the conference finals, San Antonio or Boston and will Taylor Swift be happy with Kayla?
The NBA conference finals are finally set after a thrilling Eastern Conference semifinal. Great effort by the Wizards and a tremendous butt slap of Stephen A. Smith’s rear from Markieff Morris. Maybe next year the Wizards will break-on-through to the conference finals.
There is minimal to no expected drama for the conference finals outside of someone getting hurt. Rough start for the Warriors with Andre Iguodala missing game two with soreness in his left knee and Zaza Pachulia going out with a bruised right heel. The Warriors will need all hands on deck to beat Cleveland. Right now its seems like they will be, but stay tuned.
Speaking of Pachulia, Gregg Popovich had a point, but he also might have distracted his team going into game two. The focus was not there, while the victimhood was.
A little tennis on the show this week. Roger Federer will not play in the French Open by choice, while Maria Sharapova is still being punished for a crime she paid her 15-month penalty for.
Colin Kaepernick reportedly is being considered by Seattle to backup Russell Wilson. For the love of humanity, can Kaepernick get a gig in the NFL? Blaine Gabbert is getting another shot with the Cardinals, 9-31 career record and all.
From the entertainment world, Jimmy Kimmel is back to host the 2017 Oscars. World Series Champion David Ross will continue his march towards yet another title, a back-to-back of sorts if he can take the Dancing with the Stars crown. Kayla’s girl crush, Taylor Swift, has a new boyfriend who looks like he is her son or younger brother.
In a heartwarming tribute to Taylor, Kayla brought her own guitar out of mothballs and did her best to sing one of her favorite Taylor diddy’s, “Mean.” Big thumbs up for the effort.
Carm and Kayla has a new edition every Wednesday afternoon at 2 CT. You can follow the show on twitter @CarmAndKayla or individually @thecarm or @kaylaknierim
