It’s time for the two-hour season finale of Scandal, and it’s sure to be a doozy. To tune in, we’ve got all the details you need to watch Scandal online.
It is not fair that we are already at the Scandal season 6 finale. And since season 7 is the last, I think we deserve a final season with like 30 episodes or something. Just to be fair.
On the bright side, TGIT will live on for another year, despite rumors from an ABC exec that said they may potentially break up the lineup just to see if it helps the ratings. Probably after Scandal ends, they’re going to try something different, especially since I really don’t think How to Get Away with Murder will have as long a lifespan as either of the two shows it shares the night with. It’s a really tough show to watch as of season 3, so we shall see.
But Scandal‘s going out on a high note and on Shonda Rhimes’ terms. When ABC officially announced the cancellation at the upfronts, Rhimes said:
"“Deciding how to end a show is easy. Deciding when to finish is quite simple when the end date is years away. But actually going through with it? Actually standing up to say: ‘This is it?’ Not so much. So, next year we are going all out. Leaving nothing on the table. Creating this world in celebration. We are going to handle the end the way we like to handle the important things in our Scandal family: all together, white hats on, gladiators running full speed over a cliff.”"
Though season 6 ends tonight, we can at least say that it was a good season and handled the abbreviated amount of episodes really well.

And here’s the synopsis for “Transfer of Power”:
"In the sixth-season finale, Fitz uses his power to make some unexpected changes in the final days of his presidency."
