NBA on TNT analysts Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith decided to play cards during the Cavs’ demolition of the Celtics in Game 2.

We think we can safely say that Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley playing cards during Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals is much more intriguing than the actual game itself.

Known for their hilarious antics, the dynamic duo decided to throw out the deck of cards and play a game while LeBron James and the Cavaliers were busy destroying the top-seeded Celtics on the famed parquet floor.

The NBA on TNT crew caught the pair engaging in a riveting card game that was far more exciting than anything on the court, at least from a Celtics perspective. If you’re a Cavs fan, you probably won’t be paying attention to the card game going on by Sir Charles and The Jet.

You’re probably busy watching your team make history.

There is nothing to say that can’t be said about the first half of Game 2. The Cavs came out even sharper than they did in Game 1, especially on the defensive end. In fact, it’s the Cavs’ defense that deserves all of the much-needed praise for why this series is turning out to be a joke.

The Celtics just don’t present the offensive firepower to stay with Cleveland’s stable of offensive horses, and it’s quickly becoming apparent that this just isn’t the Celtics year to finally dethrone the Kings of the East.

Don’t get us wrong, the Celtics are going to be set up for the next four years, at least, so they will have plenty of opportunities to take a stab at the defending Eastern Conference champs; but it won’t be this year, and you’d be better off playing cards to then watching this massacre unfold.

Kenny and Charles had the right idea.
