After getting snubbed from the NBA MVP conversation, LeBron James does what he does. Here is James denying Avery Bradley points on another chasedown block.

What did you think was going to happen when Cleveland Cavaliers small forward LeBron James found out that he was not even going to be an NBA MVP finalist this summer? James may not have had the same regular season as James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, and Russell Westbrook. However, James’ season really only begins in the NBA Playoffs.

Having already won nine NBA playoff games in a row, James and the Cavaliers came out with a vengeance in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics. Cleveland cruised to a double digit lead in the first quarter.

The most notable play from that first frame was another one of those patented chasedown blocks from James to embarrass the opposition in transition. Celtics center Kelly Olynyk definitely thought he set up wing Avery Bradley for an easy fast break bucket. James just had to say no because the NBA voters just had to say no.

It looked like James has been practicing that lengthy break between the conference semifinals and the conference finals. Cleveland has yet to lose a playoff game this spring. The Cavaliers last lost a postseason game in Game 4 of the 2016 NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors.

Golden State would be the team that Cleveland would likely face if the Cavaliers were to advance to a third straight NBA Finals. It would be the third straight finals meetings between NBA teams. Golden State won it all in 2015, while Cleveland won its first NBA Championship last June.

James looks to be well-rested and might be playing his playoff basketball of his career. Golden State may be a juggernaut, but Boston is absolutely no match for James and the Cavaliers. It would be shocking to see Boston win a game in this series.
