NXT TakeOver: Chicago is set to deliver a phenomenal show from Allstate Arena on Saturday, May 20 and track all the results and highlights here

Just looking back one year ago, it’s a bit wild to think how much WWE NXT has changed. That mostly involves the members of the roster, sure. However, there have been plenty of other changes as well. Even still, they are loaded to the brim with talent. And that talent is going to be on full display on Saturday night at Allstate Arena for NXT TakeOver: Chicago.

Obviously the NXT TakeOver events need little introduction to wrestling fans at this point. This is the 16th special for the brand and the overwhelming majority have been fantastic. With that being said, this one might be different. With a hot and smarky crowd in Chicago and a stacked card, NXT TakeOver: Chicago could be one of the best yet.

At the top of the card is an NXT Championship match that should be incredible. Bobby Roode has obviously been “Glorious” since arriving in NXT. However, Hideo Itami has returned from injury and is vying for the top spot with a vengeance. Will he hit the GTS — in Chicago for added effect — to finally reach the zenith of the brand?

That’s not all that NXT TakeOver: Chicago has to offer, though. The NXT Women’s Championship will be defended by Asuka in a triple threat, with Ruby Riot and Nikki Cross gunning for the belt. Meanwhile, DIY will try for the NXT Tag Team Championships again, this time in a ladder match against The Authors of Pain. With that and then a WWE UK Championship match between Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne, the card is stacked.

All of this combines to create a show you don’t want to miss. As such, keep track with all of the results and highlights below once the show begins at 8 p.m. ET.

The United Kingdom title match has show-stealing potential as Dunne might be the hottest thing in pro wrestling right now. With that said, there are several matches with that kind of potential. As such, make sure you don’t miss one moment on Saturday night.
